Teacher’s pet?
Do you like to be in the classroom? Can you see yourself in the world of education? Do you like to buy school supplies? If you love working with children and want a rewarding career, then the Educator Career Pathways program is for you.

The Auburn Career Center’s Educator Career Pathways program (EDU) educates students about the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of children through adolescence. Students participate in field experiences throughout the community. Through these field experiences, students are placed in different learning environments to gain valuable training and knowledge working with children of all ages and backgrounds.

By partnering with Lake Erie College, Auburn provides our EDU students with a "Fast Track" to their future! Students will earn 17 articulated credits from Lake Erie College through our traditional program, as well as have the chance to earn up to 13 credentialing points in various areas. These experiences will better prepare them for their futures as educators. Additionally, students in the "Fast Track" program will be encouraged to earn at least  48 College Credit Plus (CCP) Credits if they stay at Lake Erie College all day for the two years they are enrolled in Auburn's Educator Career Pathways program (EDU).
