  • Rafters, wiring, trim work, and plumbing
  • Learn to work as a member of a team
  • Work towards high level employment

Program Outcomes

Successful Completion of the program will provide the student with:

Knowledge and Skills
  • Carpentry, rough framing, roof construction, remodeling, finish work, cabinets, stairs and railings
  • Electrical: wiring, switches, single-pole, three-way and four-way main panel, 120-Circuit, 220-Circuit and electrical codes
  • Masonry: block, brick and stone work, work sites and layout footers
  • Plumbing: copper pipes, ABS and PVC piping and installing fixtures
  • Roofing: rafters, sheeting, shingles, venting and flashing
  • Drywall: hanging and finishing work, ceilings
  • Painting and finish work
  • Trim Work: interior doors, casing, baseboards, railings and crown molding
  • Siding: vinyl, wood and shake

  • CareerSafe OSHA
  • NCCER (National Center for Constructon Education and Research) Core & Level I Construction Technologies

Articulated College Credit

  • Lakeland Community College - 6 credits
