At Auburn Career Center you can explore a profession where teamwork, commitment and precision combine to form the construction industry. If your interest is in building, design, and a very rewarding career, then the Construction program is for you!
In this program, you will learn the residential and commercial aspects of the building trades. Your day might consist of wood or metal framing, floor laying, site layout, drywalling, plumbing, electricity or finish woodworking.
You will also be prepared to enter the business side of the trades, if that is your interest. You will be completing requisitions, purchase orders, requesting bids and ordering material. In this fast-paced environment, you will be prepared to enter any aspect of the construction industry.
